This surgery involves the removal of the excesses of the soft and irregular Labia minor (inner vaginal lips and smaller) that often cause chronic irritation, itching or discomfort during sexual intercourse. The term labiaplasty also linked to cosmetic surgery of the Labia Major (outer lips) to make them softer and less prominent.
